Another virtual challenge? Yes! I’m obsessed. Virtual fitness challenges are all the rage and I’m not the only one who’s addicted. These Yes.Fit challenges aim to motivate people to get moving and get into better shape. There are many virtual races to chose from and they all have beautiful intricate medals!

Many virtual races rely on the participant to track their progress and then upload their final times/results on a website. Yes.Fit comes with an app to help you track your progress. Some virtual races have a short distance that you run all in one go, such as a 5k. Yes.Fit focuses on longer distances in famous places such as the Road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii which is 59.5 miles.

They have much shorter races as well as much longer ones. All of their medals come with beautiful details and are incredibly unique. They also cost around $35 which is pretty average. Every race has some extras that you can buy, such as t-shirts! I don’t typically get them cause I already have more shirts than I could possibly wear, but I was very tempted by Yes.Fit.

Here’s a video about one of their events:

How Exactly Does it Work?

Once you sign up for a race, you download the app. Then, whenever you work out, you track your progress and once you reach your goal, your medal and any extras you purchased will ship. There is a great community that you can join if you need extra motivation or just to connect with likeminded health nuts.

There are so many races to pick from and if you’re like me, you’ll have trouble not breaking the bank. Until I win the lottery, I’m going to take it easier on the virtual races. I also decided to pick one of the longer races to make the most of my money. Plus, the medal was amazing and perfect for my Jurassic Park movie binge.

Dinosaurs Virtual Race

I signed up for the Dinosaurs race that’s 89.1 miles total. According to the website, over 2,363 people have signed up to participate in this race. So far, more than 138.9 thousand miles have been logged which is equivalent to 46.6 million calories!

“Long before the dawn of man, there walked giants who forever left their mark upon the Earth. Ever since they were first identified in the 1800s, dinosaurs have sparked the imagination of kids and adults alike. Our journey back in time takes us to the beautiful island of Kauai where the Jurassic Park films were created.

Thanks to fossils and modern technology we know what dinosaurs may have looked like and even how they might have behaved. You know all about T. Rex and the Triceratops, but have you heard of the duck-billed Edmontosaurus or the peacock-like Nomingia? Grab your running shoes and come along on “An adventure 65 million years in the making!”

Yes.Fit

Yes.Fit has a great Facebook page full of motivational posts that I recommend everyone to join, even if you’re not doing one of their challenges. Although I definitely recommend that you join their challenges as well! Just look at this adorable message in a bottle medal!

There are so many virtual races out there! Check out some of my other reviews of the other companies that I’ve done this with:

If you’ve been addicted to these virtual races just like me, you may need to start thinking of a way to store them. I have a simple hanger myself, that I got on Amazon. See the link here. For fancier people with a better budget, consider this Gone for a Run medal lamp that holds over 60 medals!
