It is not too late to take advantage of Amazon Prime Day deals! Prime Day happens annually and lasts two days. So just because it started yesterday doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy some last-minute deals today. Anyone can view the Prime deals on Amazon; however, the sales are only available for Prime members. Here are my picks for 2021 with affiliate links to the products! Spoiler alert: the last one is my favorite!
1. Kindle Paperwhite – $99.99
I dropped around $300 on a new Kindle Paperwhite with 32GB and no ads. Today, you can get it for a third of the price. Yes, I’m kicking myself for not waiting until today, especially since I still haven’t used my brand new kindle. Kindles are a fantastic product, although in my case, my Paperwhite is currently more of a paperweight.
2. Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 Basket Air Fryer – $64.95
I swear by cooking everything with an Air Fryer! I’m currently using and loving the NuWave Brio 15.5-quart Digital Air Fryer Oven. However, if I were shopping for one now, I’d consider this Instant Vortex. This best-seller on Amazon has over 40,000 great reviews, and it is on sale from $99.
3. Chemical Guys HOL148 16-Piece Arsenal Builder Car Wash Kit – $69.99
We all know someone who loves their car more than anything and will blow off social obligations to wash their car. This 16-piece car wash kit is the perfect gift for someone who wants to spend the weekend making sure their motorized (or electric) baby is squeaky clean. It is on sale from $99!
4. SanDisk Micro SD – $34.19 to $132.99
SanDisk is my preferred company for Micro SD cards. I use them in my GoPros, Drones, Yi Action Cams, etc. Most of my SD cards are 256GB, and I prefer to go for the Extreme variety because I film in 4K 60+FPS. A slow SD card can overheat if you are filming higher-quality footage. I am strongly considering getting the 1TB Micro SD this Prime Day, although it is only an ultra.
Keep in mind that most devices have a storage size cap, but in my case, I’ll be using it as a tiny external hard drive while on a car trip. The 256GB SanDisk Extreme Micro SD is on sale from $44.99 to $34.19, while the 1TB SanDisk Ultra Micro SD is on sale from $229.99 to $132.99.
5. Gillette Venus Platinum + 4 Refills – $16.06
Amazon Prime Day is not just about making extravagant purchases. In fact, most of the discounts feature everyday items. Although I am currently trying out the Billie and Brandless razors, I have always loved Gillette. Plus, they participate in a razor recycling program which is really exciting. This Gillette Venus Platinum Extra Smooth Metal Handle Women’s Razor, Handle + 4 Blade Refills set is on sale from $22.99.
6. iRobot Roomba i6+ (6550) Robot Vacuum – $499
I don’t like to clean… there are too many other things to do that are way more fun. Even though my husband Isaac does enjoy cleaning, he isn’t great at floors. A year ago, we bought a used knock-off Roomba on Facebook Marketplace, and we loved the concept, but poor Bob is old and basic. The iRobot Roomba i6+ is as fancy as it gets, and it’s on sale from $799.99, a whopping $300 less than usual!
7. Primula Half Moon Teapot with Removable Infuser – $10.49
Blooming flower teas are my favorite! Not only are they beautiful, but they are also delicious. In order to enjoy a nice blooming flower, you need a clear teapot. If you live with a clumsy dog (and husband), then an all-glass teapot is not the best idea. This Primula Half Moon Teapot is the best of both worlds – you can see the blooms without worrying that it will shatter. It’s on sale from $14.99.
8. Oral-B Genius X Limited, Electric Toothbrush – $99
I’m going to be honest and admit that I am really lazy about brushing my teeth. Using an electric toothbrush makes a massive difference for me because it does all the heavy lifting. Oral-B is known for its great dental products, and this electric toothbrush is already worth the original price of $199, but with the Prime Day discount, it is a steal!
9. Amazon Basics Multi-Level Cat Tree with Scratching Posts – $52.96
Okay, I don’t have a cat. But if I did… I would buy this multi-level cat tree! Although I’m a dog person, I have always been obsessed with cat trees. If my dog didn’t weigh 70 pounds, I would probably buy him a cat tree just for fun. This one is on sale from $78.99!
10. Medify MA-40 Air Purifier with H13 True HEPA Filter (840 sq ft) – $189.00
Even a short-haired dog sheds, plus, there are many other pollutants in the air we breathe. After living in Shanghai’s pollution, I became more sensitive about air quality. Having an air purifier helps with various breathing issues and even allergies. This incredible air purifier is perfect for large rooms or open-plan homes and is on sale from $349.00.
BONUS: Furbo Dog Camera – $118
Okay, I didn’t see this when I originally wrote this but I just ordered the Furbo Dog Camera! We are moving to the second floor of a building with an HOA and Smiley enjoys barking at delivery trucks. We currently use TENVIS cameras to watch him, but we think the treat dispensing function will be better at actually getting him to stop barking! Here’s hoping he doesn’t eat the entire thing.

Amazon Prime Day is full of great deals! However, you should do your research before you purchase anything. Many items are advertised as on sale when they are less than a dollar cheaper. Plus, the original price listed might not reflect how much it normally costs. Although there is no doubt that you can get some unbelievable deals on Prime Day, you should still exercise caution to avoid overspending or falling for fake deals.
