National Croc Day comes around every year on October 23rd and celebrates the loved by some, hated by others boating shoes. The “Beach” design launched in 2002 at a perfect event, the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. The shoes were such a hit that 200 sold that day and, over the course of time, 300 million pairs of Crocs have been sold. The Crocs company started out under different management with the main idea of producing a foam clog.
