Tayola Flush Mount LED Ceiling Light: Affordable, Bright & Minimalist

The Tayola Flush Mount LED Ceiling Light (#affiliate) was something that I did little research on. We moved into a new house with some weird looking ceiling lights. In fact, the previous owners took their pretty ones and hung up some mismatched, ugly lights that didn’t even provide much light. We bought two beautiful chandeliers on Facebook Marketplace and had a guy coming to install them. Last minute I decided that I could no longer bear the horrific lights and decided to buy something cheap to temporarily replace them with.

A quick Amazon search came up with the Tayola lights that were only $33 each. They even had plenty of second-hand options available which I love because buying used items is eco-friendly as well as cheaper. They arrived quickly, because Amazon, and they looked great despite being used. Our electrician grumbled a bit about them being European-style and not the easiest to install. But the moment we turned on the light switch, we were floored. I don’t think I have ever seen brighter lights in a home! I now take my Etsy photos in the kitchen in the evenings. They are THAT bright.

I never thought I’d be sitting here (under the said Tayola Flush Mount LED Ceiling Light FYI) and writing a review for a ceiling light… Normally I review exciting things like subscription boxes or coffee. But these are 100% worth it and I am replacing three more inefficient lights in my house with these immediately. I have already ordered more and can’t wait to get them! As much as I love my beautiful, decorative chandeliers, I honestly wouldn’t mind having these in their place.

Especially during winter time, having a well lit home is important to avoid Seasonal Affective Disorder. The only downside is you need you clean better because it highlights every speck of dirt. I have no idea if these particular lights actually help with depression like the light therapy lamps do, but they seem to make a difference.

Summary

Clearly I am a Tayola Flush Mount LED Ceiling Light cheerleader and I have no shame. If you want a minimalist bright ceiling light, BUY IT. If you want to SEE your home better, BUY IT. Put it in the bathroom, kitchen, porch (it’s water proof) and craft room. My current ceiling light in my craft room makes it hard to distinguish between gold and silver… not good. I CANNOT wait to be able to see colors properly. Seriously, I’m going to donate every single standing or desk lamp I own and will install these Tayola ceiling lights everywhere I possible can instead. I may need to start wearing sunglasses indoors, but hey… that’s a compromise I’m willing to make!
