India is a land known for its great historic culture. It is a place where you get everything ranging from mountains to deserts to beaches. You name it and it’s there! 1. Leh
Leh, situated in Ladakh, ia mesmerizing place with scenic beauty, taking it to the top of a traveler’s bucket list. It is famous for its pristine monasteries, especially Spituk Gompa. Spituk Gompa happnes to be one of the most famous monasteries in Ladakh.
If you love to ride a bike, we can’t forget to mention the magnetic hill. This is a place where vehicles move uphill! This is one of the few places on Earth that defies gravity! It is sure to amaze you, make sure not to miss it.

2. Ellora & Ajanta Caves
If you want to go to a place where you can feel your breath, then our next destination will certainly catch your attention. Ajanta and Ellora caves are comprised of 29 rock-cut Buddhist caves that portray significant culture through paintings and sculptures.
People say that they experience a feeling of divine energy and power after visiting there. It is the place where freedom of expression was first executed by the creative use of colors for human and animal form depiction.
3. Auli
Auli is a beautiful place situated in Uttarakhand, surrounded by oak forests as well as Nanda Devi. Tourists enjoy it the most during the months of November through March. It is a place where snowfall is the best and it is famous for being the go-to ski resort in India.
Auli is full of snowy slopes. It has everything that an ideal winter trek should have. Travelers can enjoy the Himalayan views, green meadows, adventurous activities like cable cars, and so much more.
4. Kasol
Kasol is a hamlet in the district Kullu of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Located on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar and Manikaran. 5. Pawna Lake

It is also known as the Pawna Dam reservoir. Camping is the most sought-out activity there and the most visited places are Tung Fort, Tikona Fort, Lohgad Fort, and Visapur Fort.

6. Rann of Kutch
Talking about western regions of India, we cannot forget Gujarat. Perhaps the most attractive destination here is Rann of Kutch. It is a salt marshy area and the best time to visit this place is during Rann Utsav wherein you will get to enjoy sightseeing, amazing cultural, and musical performances. Here you can really get an idea of this spectacular culture. If you want to enjoy the weather of Rann of Kutch then we recommend you visit between October and February.

7. Sikkim
Next, let’s take a look at the eastern side of India. In this region, the place that stands out is Sikkim. It is the least populous and second smallest state in India. It is a multiethnic and multilingual state. Tourists will enjoy the Buddhist Gompas, alpine meadows, and Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. One amazing fact about Sikkim is that it was once a part of China but finally was given to the Indian Government in 2003.
8. Munnar
Located in the Idukki district of Kerala, Munnar is situated at around 5,200 ft above the sea level, in the Western Ghats mountain range. It is also known as “Kashmir of South India” and is a popular honeymoon destination. The main reason for its popularity is its climate and tea plantations. The tourist numbers peak during April through May but a major boom in the number of visitors was observed in 2018, during August and September when the kurinji bloomed for the first time in 12 years.

9. Deoghar
Deoghar (meaning the house of Gods) is a center of peace and harmony that features many socio-cultural and industrial units. The holy city of Deoghar is located beside the Mayurakshi River, in the east Indian state of Jharkhand. The ancient Baba Baidyanath Temple complex is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site. It is not known to many but it is surely a place which is a must-go for the ones who love serenity mixed with divinity.

10. Madurai
Madurai is a city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. To make your holiday exciting, add Madurai to your travel plans. It is famous for its historical temples like Meenakshi Temple and the Tirumalai Nayak palace, but these are just the most prominent one. It is a place known for being an industrial and educational hub in Southern India.
