Stealth Core Trainer Review: $125 Plankster Game Exercise

After months of seeing the Plankster in social media ads, I finally bought it! You can buy it on Amazon for $149 (#affiliate.) I found it discounted for $99; however, with tax and shipping/handling, it amounted to $125. Although I already have a lot of gym equipment, I wanted this because it turns exercise into a game. As a Leo, I am super competitive, and I think this exercise machine’s game aspect will make a huge difference for me. Keep reading for my Stealth Core Trainer Review.

Stealth Core Trainer Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’m not going to beat around the bush. I love the Stealth Core Trainer already, although my abs (or lack thereof) are not at all amused. OUCH. But let me tell you why I love this genius contraption.

As you can see from the video above and the cover photo, we chose to unbox this at the beach. It was not the best idea because of packaging, cold, sand gets everywhere, and it’s not a stable place to exercise. However, there was minimal packaging, which is a massive win for the environment.

Although it’s made of plastic, the Stealth Core Trainer is very well made. It even worked on the beach! Although having a proper form was challenging because your feel slip in the sand. It isn’t made to work on the beach at all, but the fact that it worked was super impressive.

I also love how small and compact it is. You can bring it with you on a road trip for the extra workout. You can shove it under a couch in your living room while you’re not using it. It is perfect for small spaces. I also like that the app has many free game options, although I would be happy to pay for a premium membership if I get into this. It is available for iOS and Android.

The only thing I don’t love is the price. Although it is worth it for me and is significantly cheaper than other exercise equipment, it is an elementary device. Since you use your phone, it is essentially just a piece of plastic. Although considering the production costs, and the genius idea, the price does make more sense.

Another aspect to consider is the size of the phone slot. I was worried that my phone wouldn’t fit because I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max in a thick rubber case. It actually fits perfectly, but a larger phone would not. This is a non-issue for most people, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

My core strength is currently embarrassing, but I do not doubt that the Plankster will help. If you don’t believe me, check out all the great reviews on Amazon (#affiliate.)
