Just kidding! Look at the calendar. I was going to write a regular post today but decided to have some fun. Plus I wanted to share why I do what I do on The Travel Bug Bite! Fine, I also wanted to show off being on a roll and posting every day for the past month – it’s harder than it seems!

Writing is one of my passions and I do it as much as I can. I have written a lot for free but I frequently get paid writing opportunities as well. Nothing on my blog as of today has been sponsored in any way. Since I travel less, I like to review places I’ve visited and products that I personally enjoy. Writing gives me purpose and blogging is so much fun because I get to pick what to write about.

I also use The Travel Bug Bite as a portfolio for all my published articles. There’s only about 10-15 pieces that aren’t on here since they were only published in print. The rest, I have documented and linked on here. Making this blog extra special to me.

I’d like to thank anyone who reads my blog posts. I only get between 1,000 and 2,000 views every month so each one means a lot to me. My goals are to spread awareness on topics that mean a lot to me and to share my favorite spots as well as travel destinations. In the future, I hope to keep posting meaningful daily posts and expand my audience.

If I manage to make money from this one day, I’d be super grateful. But I’m not doing this for money. Writing is good for my soul and I never plan to stop. I may not manage to keep up the one post a day, but you won’t be able to get rid of me that easily.
