After three heatwaves this summer, pumpkin scented and flavored things have a bigger appeal than usual. As September slowly approaches, a pumpkin spice latte sounds more necessary than basic! Although it is difficult to picture the humidity disappearing and the leaves turning colorful, fall is just around the corner. Normally, I try to hold on to summer forever, but this year I’m craving the following pumpkin scented and flavored items! And before you call me crazy… Dunkin’ is launching their pumpkin spice products TOMORROW!

1. Pumpkin Scented Bath Bomb

There is nothing like a nice hot bath at the end of a long day. Although I take baths all year round, they are extra satisfying when it’s cold out. Depending on my time of bath, I either like a nice red wine or a hot coffee and I always love how a PSL makes the entire bathroom smell like fall. Another way to get the same effect is with a pumpkin scented bath bomb!

Consider checking out this one by Soapie Shoppe and this one by The Bath Bomb Co. If you’re a big fan of bath bombs, I also recommend this affordable yet adorable set by LifeAround2Angels – unfortunately they don’t have a pumpkin scented one yet.

2. Pumpkin Spice Latte

I wasn’t going to lead with it, but I can’t completely ignore it! Sure, people of the internet mock this beverage incessantly but so what? If you enjoy it, why care what other people think? Although I enjoy getting coffee to-go, I prefer drinking my coffee at home (I happen to work from home so that has something to do with it.) So I skip Starbucks and Dunkin’ and go directly to Whole Foods for a bag (or 5) of Organic Pumpkin Spice Coffee – Ground, 12 oz. They also have delicious peppermint coffee that I can never resist!

3. Pumpkin Scented Candles

Why would you want your entire home to smell like pumpkins? Why wouldn’t you! Turns out that there are dozens of pumpkin scented candles to pick from. Personally I prefer Bath & Body Works over Yankee Candle. Although this time I think I’d go for the Pet House Candle – a brand I have never tried, but two 75 pound monsters sure don’t smell like flowers.

4. Pumpkin Flavored Beer

My husband goes crazy for Shipyard’s Pumpkinhead beer every year. His enthusiasm is usually contagious so I end up grabbing a bottle, trying to like it, gagging and making him drink both. Turns out that they aren’t the only one’s who make pumpkin flavored beer! These companies do it too. It’s not just beer, Bailey’s also creates a limited edition drink but it’s not always available globally.

5. Dog Treats

Pumpkin happens to be super healthy for dogs. No, don’t share you PSL with them! Do give them raw or canned pumpkin though, after removing the seeds and guts. It’s good for their digestion. Also, if you want them to have pumpkin scented breath, check out these treats!

6. Pumpkin Flavored Ice Cream

Ice cream and pumpkins don’t seem like the best combination, but it can be delicious if done right! Ben and Jerry’s, of course, offers a limited edition Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream. Walmart sells Talenti Gelato Pumpkin Pie, if you’re into a lighter refreshment. Finally, if you want to share with your pup, they even have Puppy Scoops Ice Cream Mix – Pumpkin!

7. Pumpkin Oreos

If you live anywhere outside of the USA or Japan, Oreos are known as having a black outside and white inside and just one flavor. But the Americans and Japanese go crazy for their limited edition flavors and crazy colors, so of course there are Pumpkin Spice and Apple Pie Oreos. Check your local Target to see if they have them already!

8. Lindt Chocolate

Lindt is one of my favorite chocolate companies in the world! Not only do they have so many great options, flavors and cocoa percents but they are also coming out with vegan truffles! YUM. Lindt is a more classic company than Oreo so I was really surprised to see them jump on the pumpkin spice wagon. But lo and behold – Lindor pumpkin spice milk chocolate truffles!

9. Sparkling Beverage

People like to drink their pumpkin in all shapes and forms. From hot and frothy PSL to sparkling pumpkin juice… eh? What’s next, Moet pumpkin champagne? Who knows, it’s 2020, anything can happen, especially if it’s gross. Even though it sounds absolutely repulsive, I don’t think I can go on living without sampling, and possible spitting out R.W. Knudsen sparkling pumpkin spice beverage.

10. Spray

If you are a true pumpkin spice lover, then the items above simply won’t satiate you. What about pumpkin flavored steak? Or Beyond Burger? Why is the world of pumpkin spiced items so limited and mostly desserts or drinks? Do not feat, Simply Beyond pumpkin spice spray-on spice (seasoning spray) is here! You may even want to forgo everything else and just buy a bunch of this stuff to spray in your coffee, ice cream, bathtub or directly into your mouth!
