Jamestown Discovery Boat Tours only river based tour boat on the James River at Jamestown Island. Their U.S.C.G. Certified pontoon boat is able to accommodate up to 28 passengers, however we only had 8 others on the boat with us. We had to keep our masks on throughout the ride except when we enjoyed our complimentary drink and it was nice to have extra distance during that time. Our sunset tour cost $26 per person and was 90 minutes long!

Summary
We had a great time on our cruise! Even though it was on a warm day in mid August, it got quite chilly so we definitely recommend bringing a sweater. Our tour was supposed to be narrated but it wasn’t, perhaps because of the virus? It departed and returned on time, the crew was great and we will definitely be coming back for more!

This looks like a fun tour for when I am up in the Northeast again. Thanks for posting it.
