Vimco Wellness – Charcoal Lemonade: Delicious, Cheap, Only 5 Calories

Vimco Wellness, Vimco Wellness – Charcoal Lemonade: Delicious, Cheap, Only 5 Calories, The Travel Bug Bite

Vimco Wellness lemonade seems too good to be true. It costs $15 for 20 servings and it only has 5 calories per serving. Well, the black Charcoal, green Matcha Lemonades, and orange Focus Lemonades only have 5. The blue Probiotic Lemonade has 15 but it is absolutely delicious plus the difference of 10 calories really doesn’t make a huge difference diet wise.

I’m on round three of ordering Vimco Wellness lemonade. I love it because I hate drinking plain water. Not only is this lemonade low in waste – 20 servings in a packet is so much better than 20 plastic bottles, cans, and even glass bottles. This also makes it portable and easy to enjoy on the go. While their packaging isn’t currently recyclable, they are working towards making it so.

However, it is still a lot less wasteful than just about any lemonade. If you find any lemonade that’s more eco-friendly, let me know in the comment section below. But I seriously doubt that it’ll be quite as good as Vimco. And no, this isn’t sponsored, I am just obsessed with this product!

Vimco Wellness Pricing

So many healthy products come with panic-inducing price tags. My two favorite powders, kencko and Your Super are both priced at $3+ per serving which doesn’t seem like a lot but it sure adds up. Vimco Wellness lemonades cost as little as $15 for 20 servings and there are frequently sales on their bundles that make them even cheaper!

Not that price should come in between you and your health… but let’s be serious. Paying 40 cents for a glass of delicious, healthy lemonade sounds pretty hecking fantastic.

Vimco Wellness Lemonade Flavors

There are four flavors of Vimco Wellness lemonade. Three out of four hit it out of the park for me. The fourth, however, did not compare. Personally, I was disappointed by the orange Focus lemonade. It is the most expensive of the bunch when ordered individually and I didn’t get it as part of my original bundle.

Orange Focus Vimco Lemonade

Rating: 2 out of 5.

When it finally arrived, I was excited to try it because who couldn’t use more focus? But also, I wanted to try yet another delicious flavor of Vimco. Unfortunately, it was bland with just a faint hint of peaches. My husband, who drinks one or two of these a day, was also not a fan. Maybe we got a bad batch? Or maybe it just has a different formula.

It wasn’t bad or gross in any way, it just didn’t wow like the others. So I may be too harsh in my rating, but lemonade is supposed to be sweet and flavorful. I will be giving it another chance because it’s still better than water and better focus would be amazing at my new job.

Black Charcoal Vimco Lemonade

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I would give more stars if I could. This stuff is black in color because it is infused with charcoal. There is even a warning against drinking it with your medicine as charcoal can counteract its effects. If you drink it with your eyes closed, you may as well be drinking Dell’s Lemonade, except instead of hundreds of calories it only has 5.

While I don’t drink it regularly enough to notice feeling any different after drinking it, I do love the flavor. I would like to see more research on whether the health benefits really work. Of course there is no doubt that the lack of calories and chemicals make it a healthier alternative. However, it would be interesting to see if it truly is a superfood more than it is a lemonade.

Blue Probiotic Vimco Lemonade

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’m big on my probiotics. If you want to learn more about them, read this article on superfood terminology. Anyway, the blue Probiotic lemonade has them in spades! However, there is no weird aftertaste or SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) floating around at the bottom of your glass.

Just like the charcoal lemonade, if you closed your eyes, you would never guess that it was blue. It tastes like lemons and sugar. If I’m being honest, I don’t taste much difference between this and the Charcoal Lemonade, but they both taste great.

Green Matcha Vimco Lemonade

Rating: 5 out of 5.

When I first got my Ultimate Lemonade Bundle (80 servings) for $63.99, I admit that I held off trying the Matcha Lemonade. I used to drink Matcha tea daily, without milk or sugar, until I started gagging at the mere sight or smell of it. They say no pain, no gain, but Matcha just did not agree with me.

Vimco’s Matcha Lemonade on the other hand is delicious with just a hint of green tea. Matcha does have natural caffeine so it is not recommended that you drink this one before bed. I need to try it again now that I’m no longer drinking caffeine. Although I no longer avoid this flavor of Vimco Wellness Lemonade, I do still favor the Charcoal Lemonade.

Summary: Vimco Wellness

Vimco Wellness claims that their lemonades will make you look and feel amazing. While I cannot confirm nor deny their claims, I do know that these lemonades taste fantastic. I love to drink them and even after a few months, they still feel like a special treat. Unlike my other choice cheat foods, these lemonades are nutritious, delicious, and they have almost no calories. To be extra fancy, enjoy these with ice and a slice of lemon.
