Spring CAUSEBOX Customization: Lifestyle Subscription Box 2021

A few days ago I completed the Spring CAUSEBOX Customization! This will be my third box by them – check out what I got in the Winter 2020-2021 box and the Fall 2020 box. I have really enjoyed both my CAUSEBOX, FabFitFun, and Kinder Beauty Box subscriptions and my home is now filled with amazing products that I use every day! The Spring CAUSEXBOX selection was a little different than I expected. Check it out!

Spring CAUSEBOX Customization – How Does it Work?

There are six sustainable, ethically-sourced, full-sized products worth up to $270+ items in the CAUSEBOX Spring Box. I got to pick between various options in the customization process and I was able to add items from the members only market. Since I am drowning in stuff, I didn’t add anything to the box this time around.

Customization Step 1: Canvas Market Tote from FEED Projects

FEED is an impact driven lifestyle brand with an enduring principle at the heart of what they do—that people’s choices of what to buy and wear have the power to change the world. They offer meaningful ways for consumers to make a difference! The Canvas Market Tote is worth $88 and CAUSEBOX lets you pick out of three amazing color options!

The Market Totes look a little different on their website, but it is common for companies to create exclusive products for CAUSEBOX. I picked the Coastal Stripe because I live on the coast and I can see taking this to the beach as well as the store!

Customization Step 2: Charger or Napkins or Blue Light Glasses

For step 2 of the Spring CAUSEBOX Customization we got a diverse selection of items to pick from. What I don’t like about CAUSEBOX compared to FabFitFun, is that there isn’t as much information while making the selection. If I go to a diffrent page on their website, I can find out everything I need to know, but during the selection process you are in the blind. You have to open two tabs to get information while you are selecting the products.

For once, I made the greenest choice, not just to be eco-friendly but because I have no need for blue light glasses or a portable charger. But I could definitely use more upcycled napkins in my messy life!

NIMBLE – CHAMP Lite Portable Charger

Nimbe is a company whose slogan is ‘Tech for Good.’ Nimble products are designed in California as a premium tech alternative. They use sustainable materials, plastic-free packaging, and make no compromise. Nimble is committed to not only reducing our environmental impact through smarter production means and materials, but by encouraging the entire Nimble Community to help reduce the amount of eWaste and plastic ending up in our landfills. PALM + PERKINS – Set of 4 Upcycled Napkins

PALM + PERKINS is a company that nurtures a slow, more thoughtful lifestyle. Palm + Perkins curates the highest quality goods from makers across the country and around the world. They recognize the immense harm caused by conventional manufacturing, which is why they are dedicated to making ethical and sustainable goods more accessible. They believe how people shop and where they shop is political. Transparency, accountability, and fair wages should be the norm. Read more about them here.

DIFF EYEWEAR – Finn Sea Tortoise Blue Light Glasses

Diff Eyewear is a company has a partnership with Sightsavers, an international organization leading the charge in providing vision to billions of people around the world (yes, billions!), as part of their 2020 Vision to expand their global impact. In 4 years, DIFF has been able to provide over 1.6 million people with the reading glasses they need and in these past 4 years, they have learned that they can do even more than donate solely reading glasses. Spring CAUSEBOX Customization Step 3

I was really excited about the selection in this step as well. Since I already have exercise bands so I had a tough choice to make between the tech organizer and the collapsible cup. I ended up going with the cup because the organizer didn’t have all the tech compartments that I was interested in. But it was a really close call!

GLASS LADDER & CO. – Katherine Tech Organizer Roll

Glass Ladder & Co. is a company with a mission to create beautiful designs that help young women feel confident stepping into business meetings, interviews, and professional settings. Their main message is:

“WE DON’T BELIEVE IN GLASS CEILINGS,WE BELIEVE IN GLASS LADDERS BECAUSE YOUR POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH IS UNLIMITED.”

STOJO – Collapsible 16 oz. Cup

I picked this cup, STOJO sells them in many fun colors. My only regret is not being able to pick one of my favorite colors for the cup! STOJO believes that sustainability shouldn’t mean sacrifice. They are committed to designing earth-conscious products that bring more to life than what they take away.

MAJI SPORTS – Stretch & Exercise Bands (3 pack)

Maji Sports is a company that cares about your health and our environment! At Maji Sports, they all work together with the aim of helping as many people reach their fitness and wellness goals. Their aim is to lead an exclusive lifestyle brand that makes mental health & physical fitness accessible to all while keeping quality and sustainability in check.

Spring CAUSEBOX Customization Step 4

This was the step that I was least excited about, but that’s not CAUSEBOX’s fault. I love to take care of my nails, but I also run a small jewelry business so my nails get destroyed daily. The French Pink Clay Konjac Sponge is super fun, but I already have similar products. I went for the sponge and I’m excited to do a comparison with similar products!

ADESSE NEW YORK – Power Couple Nail Care Duo

Adesse New York is a company that creates a luxury collection of Anti-aging Nail Treatment and Organic Infused Nail Lacquer, inspired by the iconic style of New York and crafted with only the finest organic pigments, micas, minerals and essential oils. Their mission was to create an Eco Chic luxury nail brand that would give their customers clean, safe organic infused products without having to step away from the world of luxury.

WYLD – French Pink Clay Konjac Sponge

WYLD is a company that makes sustainable essentials for your skin with the planet in mind. Wyld – pronounced “wild” – stands for What. You. Love. Doing. Wyld stands for radical self love, for fearlessly going after our dreams and what sets our souls on fire. Their clean essentials are inspired by love and wanderlust, and are desired by the empowered woman who treasures freedom, who lives to wander without boundaries, and who fearlessly charts her path in life.

Customization Step 5

This was one of the hardest choices to make when it came to my Spring CAUSEBOX customization. I love both lip treatments and exfoliators, but I ended up going for the illuminating setting spray!

THREE SHIPS – Lip Treatment Kit

Thee Ships is a company that has searched for the mystical Fountain of Youth. They embrace this less is more mindset and use this philosophy to chart their course as a company. They believe you don’t need a long list of unnecessary ingredients in your skincare products, and you don’t need a 12 step skincare routine to achieve beautiful results.

PUR – Lit Mist Illuminating Setting Spray

PUR is a company that has redefined clean beauty with one mission in mind—to offer, PÜR Beauties good-for-you products that deliver both immediate and long-term results. Their products are cruelty free, talc free, paraben free, gluten free, petrolatum free, mineral oil free, sodium lauryl sulfate free, and vegan friendly.

PROVINCE APOTHECARY – Regenerating Exfoliator + Resurfacing Mask

Province Apothecary was founded by Julie Clark. For Julie, natural beauty goes beyond simply organic ingredients; natural beauty means a pledge to helping clients feel good in their own skin. “I gather so much inspiration from my clients, the weather, and the seasons,” says Julie, of her individually-tailored approach to skin care.

Her facial treatments often include hand-blended masks using local produce and seasonally appropriate, farmer-friendly ingredients. While PA has long outgrown the kitchen, Julie’s devotion to fresh, seasonal, and organic beauty continues. Now a certified holistic esthetician and aromatherapist, Julie remains committed to innovation, sustainability, and small-batch skin care of the highest quality.

Spring CAUSEBOX Customization Step 6

Finally, there is one more potentially mystery item? This didn’t show up at all during customization, so I have no idea what to expect, which is exciting!

Summary

I am super pumped to receive my Spring CAUSEBOX and I hate that I have to wait a few weeks to get it. I love that once again, CAUSEBOX has introduced me to green companies that make a difference in the world.
