Affordable Singapore Infinity Pool: Hotel Jen Orchardgateway

, Affordable Singapore Infinity Pool: Hotel Jen Orchardgateway, The Travel Bug Bite

Everyone who visits Singapore wants to take a dip in the iconic infinity pools of Marina Bay Sands. I am not going to pretend that I am too hipster to go to the mainstream infinity pool with an absolutely priceless view of the Gardens by the Bay and the Supertree Grove.

I do admit, that like most visitors, I can’t afford to pay an $600 to spend just one night in this fancy pants hotel which is the only way to get access to the pool. If I did have deep pockets, however, I probably would be annoyed by all the tourists visiting the observatory to take photos of me swimming in the pool. Because paying $23 to see the famous pool and get a view of Singapore from above was worth it.

Another option to see the pool and the view is to go to CÉ LA VI, the rooftop bar with an entry fee of $22 (from 12 PM to 10 PM) or $28 (after 10 PM). The cost includes credit towards a drink and it can get you approximately one drink. It was a great experience and I recommend that anyone who can’t stay at the hotel!

If you would like to take a dip in an infinity pool that is slightly cheaper than $600, I highly recommend Hotel Jen Orchardgateway! Isaac surprised me by booking a room there for the night and he managed to get a deal for $200 which included a free drink each by the pool! They almost always have special deals starting as low as $150, so you could stay at this five star hotel for 4 nights for the price of one night at the Marina Bay.

Jen Orchardgateway had the most amazing breakfast spread I have ever seen, and I have stayed at nice hotels like the Marriott and the Hilton before. You can see a video of the breakfast below. Of course, the hotel room and the pool were amazing as well! The hotel even had an impressive little robot that roamed the lobby and was super cute.
