Grounds & Hounds is an amazing coffee subscription that donates a percentage of their profits to help dogs. The subscription starts at $13.99 + $2 shipping and can be fully customized to suit your needs. The company also sells coffee normally with no subscription needed. They have a wide selection of delicious products.
“20% of all profits generated by Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co. are used to fund innovative and impactful rescue programs throughout the country. We strive to support the hard-working organizations and volunteers who fight for our friends day in and day out, and we promise to deliver an amazing cup of coffee along the way! “Grounds and Hounds Coffee
The coffee club subscription is a great way to stay stocked up on coffee while regularly helping dogs in need. Depending on the frequency and quantity that you need, the price will vary. The cheapest option is just a few dollars more than your Netflix subscription.
You don’t have to subscribe to sample or enjoy Grounds & Hounds coffee. You can buy individual bags whenever you want. The wide selection can make this a daunting task, especially since reading the descriptions will make your mouth water. The cost of bags ranges between $12 and $15 for 12 oz or 340 grams.
They have 20 different types of coffee to pick from that fall under the categories of light, medium and dark roast. Most of their coffees have fun names such as Rescue Roast! Oh, and they have decaf coffee too. They also sell hot chocolate which sounds delicious. They do sell single-serve pods too, which I do not support because dogs, as well as humans, benefit from a world that isn’t polluted.
Grounds & Hounds sell a lot of fun merchandise that would make great gifts for dog and/or coffee lovers. They sell apparel for men and women, a great variety of mugs and tumblers, brewing gear, stickers and decals, dog accessories and lots of fun bundles. The bundles can be coffee-only or a mix of coffee and merch. These make great presents!
I tried a three-coffee sampler from Grounds & Hounds about a year ago. I loved all three coffees and was happy that I could contribute to their good cause. Since my husband and I drink an abnormal amount of coffee, we only tried it as a treat as we usually buy much cheaper local coffee.
I love everything about this company except the fact that they sell single-pod coffee. I think that single-use anything should be banned and I don’t think that a company that helps animals should support such an unsustainable practice.
It’s a little hypocritical to sell reusable stainless steel straws while still selling one of the most polluting products in the world. You can read about why these pods are detrimental to the planet here. I strongly urge Grounds & Hounds to stop selling this product. It will only make you more awesome, seriously!
