I love giving (and receiving) gifts but I find men really hard to shop for! All the guys I know have one or two hobbies but at a certain point you exhaust the number of themed gifts. He may love Pokemon but he doesn’t need Pikachu on his phone, clothes, wallet, car and laptop. Well, maybe he does… but I’m here to give you a few other ideas.
Pokemon Pet Portraits
But wait, while we’re still discussing Pokemon, I got my husband the cutest Pokemon-themed Christmas present that wasn’t too nerdy to hang up in our home. The Poke Pet Shop will Pokéfy your pet! All you need to do is submit a photo and preferences, then pay them to have an artist do their magic. Costs start at $35 for just a digital file. There are quite a few things that you can chose to make the price go up. Whatever you decide to do, I guarantee that it will be worth it!
The only thing to consider is delivery time. I submitted my request during a crazy busy time and it took a while for them to create the piece. The company has great customer support so just reach out to find out when you can expect your masterpiece. Here’s how mine turned out:
Ballsy: Ball Wash
Tell him you’re nuts about him by caring for his balls. Regular soaps just aren’t meant to go on our private parts. Hold his jewels to the same standard as you do your love box. Ballsy has a great assortment of products to pamper your favorite man’s junk. Introduce him to the luxurious world of nut rub, sack spray, ball wash and more. He will love it but let’s be honest… you’ll benefit from it just as much as he will.
Meat: Gifts for Him
Now that we’ve discussed his meat, let’s talk about other types of meat. It may be a stereotype that men love meat, but it’s kind of true. Even my vegan husband loves his jerky; he simply prefers it to be plant-based. Whatever your SO’s tastes are, there is a meat bouquet, gift box or subscription that will knock his socks off.
Man Crate is a place to shop for beefy and even boozy gifts for your guy. Their prices start at $39 and vary based on product.
Fake Meats is the plant-based version of Man Crate. They offer individual products, gift sets and even a subscription if you can’t get enough of that plant-based meat.
Ladder 34: Qaulity Accessories
Leather wallets, belts and other accessories are great. But they are also common. Surprise your babe with something truly unique. Ladder 34 creates items out of used fire fighter equipment and gives them a second chance at life. This is eco-friendly and the proceeds go to fund the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe. Isaac loves the belt I got him for Christmas!
Two Blind Brothers: Soft Clothing
If your partner is a fan of comfort, look no further. Two Blind Brothers is a company that creates the world’s softest clothes. Their clothes are created by the blind, can be bought “blind,” and 100% of proceeds go towards researching cures for blindness. You can also shop for specific items on their website.
The Hero’s Journal
Is your boo a big dreamer with goals that’s he’s working towards? Consider buying him The Hero’s Journal to help him make them real! This journal combines modern psychology with your favorite fandoms, creating a completely unique journaling experience. My husband isn’t the “sit down and write about his feelings” kinda guy, but he’s obsessed with this special journal. Read about it and some other personal development journals here.
Summary: Gifts for Him
We all have a special dude in our lives who deserves some extra love. Be it your dad, brother, partner or friend, one of these gifts is sure to brighten up his Valentine’s Day! But let’s be clear about two things: 1. Gender norms are complete BS and most men I know would appreciate a regular box of chocolate. 2. You don’t need to give a gift to show love. You can show a man you care about him without spending a cent! That being said, this list was super fun to put together!
