I have always been a fan of using charcoal to whiten my teeth. The combination of braces stripping off my enamel and bad tooth genes left me with not-so pearly whites. Using charcoal is effective but not the most convenient, which is why I decided to try BLAQ Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder. I actually got it as an add-on to my Winter FabFitFun Box!
BLAQ Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder
My favorite thing about the BLAQ Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder is that it actually works! If your teeth are as bad as mine, you’ll see results after one use. I began using it two a day to help fight the discoloration that comes from coffee, red wine, and cabbage juice from my juice cleanse.
My second favorite thing is the mint flavor! I mentioned using actual charcoal before, and the flavor is enough to put you off. Even when I dipped a toothpaste-covered toothbrush into the charcoal, it still wasn’t great. The mint-flavor of BLAQ fixes this particular problem! It is a little pricey compared to similar products at $12.99 for 30g/1oz.
After trying the powder, I had to try the BLAQ Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Toothpaste. Unlike other charcoal toothpastes that I’ve tried, this one tastes delicious. Although I wish it wasn’t in a wasteful plastic tube, I do appreciate that the tube holds its shape unlike regular toothpaste. The ingredients are organic, vegan, and the toothpaste is made with coconut oil and bentonite clay. It is also sodium lauryl sulfate free!
Although the toothpaste doesn’t seem to whiten my teeth as much as the powder, I still like it and will continue using it to see if it helps in the long run. I am also curious about trying the BLAQ Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Pen, although the reviews aren’t the best. The toothpaste and powder both have rave reviews though, and for good reason!
I am slowly getting through reviewing every product I get from FabFitFun, CAUSEBOX, and Kinder Beauty. I am excited to have the chance to try so many great products at great discounts. BLAQ is one of the ones I’ll keep coming back to! They not only make dental care products but also face masks, such as the Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask: Generation Clay.
