Bhaja Caves- Bhaja Caves are rock-cut caves that are detonated as national monuments as they belong to the second century, also making them the oldest caves in India. The Buddhist engravings in these caves date back to the Hinayana phase of Buddhism. Caves are made up of Viharas and Chaityas with a waterfall nearby. To reach the caves from Bhaja Village, you can take a zig-zag trail.

Karla Caves- Near the Bhaja Caves lie the Karla Caves, with the largest and most well-preserved Hinayana Buddhist Chaitya. These rock-cut caves have inscriptions, stupas, pillars, and a thirty-seven-pillar aisle which is two-thousand-year-old.
